Roger Honey has been an artist and an educator for more than 30 years. He grew up in Farnham, England, and graduated from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, where he earned a master of fine arts. Upon completion of his degree, he joined the faculty at London University, where he was a lecturer and ceramics specialist. In 1980, Mr. Honey joined the faculty at Principia College in Elsah, Ill., as a professor of studio art with a focus on ceramics, sculpture, and three-dimensional design. He and his wife currently live in Barrington, Ill., where he continues to teach and produce hand-built stoneware. His recent work, some of which can be found here, is inspired by Utah landscapes.
